The Legend Jr. Ultra is designed for residential use. Its 5" square, 3/16"
steel post is strong enough to stand up to a lot of use. The single-piece post
design means that you don't need to be concerned about dealing with joints that
can deteriorate over time. The Legend Jr. Ultra's post is buried 42" below the
playing surface to eliminate wobbling. For safety reasons, the post is set back
52".
The Legend Jr. Ultra is a fixed height basketball system where you have the
option of positioning the arm at any spot along the post you choose. Six
high-tensile 5/8" bolts are used to fasten the arm securely in place. Once the
post is put in place, the post to backboard extension is 52". To keep players
safe, consider adding backboard or all-weather post padding to the package.
The Legend Jr. Ultra offers you a professional level of performance on your home
basketball court. It will provide many hours of enjoyable play over several
years. The Legend Jr. is outfitted with a 36" x 54" tempered glass backboard and
a heavy duty flex goal. The glass backboard gives players the same reaction from
the ball they would get while playing in a gym. To eliminate concerns about the
backboard breaking when players hand from the rim, the goal is "direct mounted".
