The Legend Jr. Pro is designed for residential use. Its 5" square, 3/16" steel post is strong enough to stand up to a lot of use. The single-piece post design means that you don't need to be concerned about dealing with joints that can deteriorate over time. The Legend Jr. Ultra's post is buried 42" below the playing surface to eliminate wobbling. You can add a ground sleeve if you would like to make the post removable. For safety reasons, the post is set back 52".
The Legend Jr. Pro is considered to be a fixed height basketball system. That doesn't mean you don't have any choice about where to place the arm, though. Six high-tensile 5/8" bolts are provided to fasten the arm securely in place anywhere along the arm. The post to backboard extension for this package is 52". For safety's sake, consider adding wrap-around post padding or backboard padding to this package.
