Installing the backboard is an easy process, due to the nosecone backboard mounting design. This feature allows the backboard to be mounted directly onto the post. Lifting the backboard during installation is kept to a minimum with this feature.
The Tyrant Impervia's massive post is set to a depth of 48" below the playing surface during installation. The post to backboard extension for this model is a very impressive 72". For safety reasons, pole padding and backboard padding can be added to this package to minimize injuries.
