The Legend Playground can take the punishment that is delivered on any playground, recreation center, or public park where serious basketball players hang out. This system includes a 6" square, 3/16" thick steel tubing for maximum strength. For safety reasons, the post is set 66" behind the backboard. When the unit is set up, the post is buried a full 48" below the playing surface. Add an optional ground sleeve to make the post removable if you want that flexibility.
Six, 5/8" tensile bolts attach the extension arm to the Legend Excel. It is considered a fixed height system, but you can choose the height along the post where you would like to position the arm. Extension distance from post to backboard is 66". All-weather post padding and backboard padding is an available option.
