The Tyrant Extreme is built to take on all comers on the playground and stand
up to the most punishing use you or Mother Nature can throw at it. Its post
dimensions are a very impressive 6 5/8" diameter, and its galvanized metal
construction renders it indestructible. The nosecone feature makes it very easy
to install directly into the non-playing side of the backboard. This unique
feature dramatically cuts down on the amount of lifting involved in assembling
the unit, saving both time and installation costs.
Once the Tyrant Supreme has been fully assembled, the post is set to a full 48"
below the surface of the concrete in the playground. This extremely stable unit
gives players an extension distance from post to backboard of 72". Since safety
during play should always be a consideration, you have the option of adding pole
padding and backboard padding to this package.
The Tyrant Impervia is a highly durable basketball system that will stand up to
the demands of multiple users as well as all kinds of weather conditions. This
model comes with a 36" x 60" steel backboard and an unbreakable fixed goal. The
"direct mounted" goal eliminates the possibility of backboard stress. The
nosecone feature allows the backboard to be permanently attached to the post
during the installation process.
