The Renegade Flight gives playground basket ball players a commercial quality
system. The pole is made from 4.5" O.D. galvanized schedule 40 tubing. Once the
pole has been placed 48" below the playing surface, the Renegade Flight won't
wobble or topple over, even in the most demanding games. A vinyl cap tops off
the pole to keep moisture out.
The extension arm attaches to the Renegade Flight with two heavy-duty U-bolts.
This fixed height basketball system gives you the flexibility to choose the rim
height you want. Simply loosen the U-bolts from the extension arm and reattach
them at the height you want if you decide to raise or lower the goal.
The backboard is firmly supported by a good quality brace. This design provides
superior backboard rigidity. The extension arm and the braces are powder-coated.
Galvanized metal used as a construction material for the post renders it weather
resistant. The Renegade Flight gives players a post to backboard extension of
48".
The Renegade Flight can handle the demands of the playground basketball player
quite well. It won't rust out over time, and the post is buried deep enough that
you don't need to be concerned about wobbling. The Renegade Flight comes with a
39" x 54" fiberglass backboard and an unbreakable fixed goal. The goal is
"direct mounted" to eliminate the problems caused by backboard stress.
