The HydroSport II gives you a very professional look when you want to play
basketball poolside. Its 4" x 4" stainless steel post is powder coated to stand
up to the weather, as well as being splashed by pool water. Four stainless steel
anchor bolts are provided to secure the HydroSport II to the pool deck. A
protective cover is provided to cover the anchor bolts. This package also
includes an ABS plastic anchor cover. The steel extension arm has also been
powder coated and is firmly attached to the post with U-bolts.
This is a fixed-height system; however, you still have the option of loosening
the U-bolts and reattaching the extension arm to any height along the post. A
welded top cap helps to keep moisture from entering the vertical post. Plus, the
goal is treated with a special zinc undercoating to protect it from damage
caused by rust. For added safety, backboard padding can be added to the
HydroSport II.
The HydroSport is incredibly stable and will provide many hours of enjoyment. It
can stand up well to being in a damp atmosphere. The HydroSport II comes with a
36" x 48" acrylic backboard and a heavy duty flex goal. The goal is "direct
mounted" to eliminate the possibility of the backboard breaking when players
hang off the rim.
