The Thunder Select is a very durable, portable basketball system. Designed
for use by schools, churches, and recreational facilities, it is strong enough
to stand up to the demands of multiple players. Adjusting the Thunder Select is
a simple matter of turning the crank located at the back of the post. You have
the option of setting the height to any level you want between 10' and 6'6".
When the rim height is set to 10', post to backboard extension is 48". This
means that the base of the unit sits off the court, for player safety.
Moving the Thunder Select is a very easy process. Use the release crank to
unlock the brake and use the six roller wheels to reposition the unit. The
extension arm will drop down very quickly so you can take it through
standard-height double doors. The Thunder Select is outfitted with heavy padding
at the front of the unit to keep players safe.
The Thunder Select has the strength and reliability that is so important in
institutional settings. It can be repositioned quickly and easily, and the
extension arm folds down for storage. It comes with a 36" x 60" acrylic
backboard and a heavy duty flex goal. The goal is direct mounted to protect the
backboard if players hang from it.
