The Storm Pro Basketball System is designed for institutional use. Schools,
recreational facilities, and field house are all places where this style could
be used effectively. The Storm Pro is a very strong and highly durable unit that
will last for a number of years.
The rim height can be set at any level between 10' and 6', depending on the age
of the players involved. To make the adjustment, pull the pin at the back of the
adjustment rod and raise or lower the unit to the desired level. Then replace
the pin. The post to backboard extension is 66", and a minimum of 48" is
maintained at all lower rim heights. The Storm Pro is outfitted with heavy
padding on the front, sides, and back of the base. Backboard padding is also
available as an add-on to the Storm Pro. This unit is made to remain stable,
even if players are hanging off the rim.
The Storm Pro is easy to move thanks to the 8" non-marking caters under the
base. When you want to store the unit, it folds down into a compact form. The
Storm Select is outfitted with a 36" x 60" tempered glass backboard and a heavy
duty flex goal. The goal is "direct mounted" to guard against backboard breakage
when players hang off the rim.
