The Storm Arena Basketball System gives you the flexibility of not having to
install a permanent fixture in your gymnasium, recreational center or field
house. It gives you the flexibility you need, since the rim height can be
adjusted to any height between 10' and 6'. To set the height to the level you
want, remove the pin at the back of the unit and raise or lower the unit.
Replace the pin when you reach the correct height, and the game can start any
time.
The post to backboard extension with the Storm Arena is 66" when the rim is set
at the 10' level. At lower rim heights, a minimum extension of at least 48" can
be maintained. For safety the front, sides, and back of the base are covered
with heavy foam padding. You can choose to add backboard padding as an option to
this package. The Storm Arena is built to remain upright, even if players decide
to hang from the rim.
Moving the Storm Arena after the game is finished is an easy process, thanks to
this unit's 8" non-marking caters. In between games, it folds into a compact
storage position until next time. The Storm Arena comes with a 42" x 72"
tempered glass backboard and a heavy duty flex goal. The goal is "direct
mounted" to eliminate the possibility of the backboard breaking when up against
hard playing conditions.
