The RollaSport III basketball system offers strength and durability. It is a
good choice in situations where you don't want to put up a permanent goal and
you don't anticipate needing to adjust the height of the goal often. You do have
the option of loosening the U-bolts that attach the extension arm to the post
and moving the arm to a different height along the post. Once you have the arm
in the location you want, you can retighten the bolts.
When you want to move the RollaSport III, you need to retract the vertical post
using the post actuator on the base unit. The post will pitch back and the
RollaSport III will lower onto the transport wheel. You would return the post to
its original, vertical position when it's time to play again. The goal can
easily be moved into a garage or through a set of double doors if need be. The
post pad covering the front of the unit is high-quality protective material.
The RollaSport III's post has been treated with a powder-coat finish to protect
it from the ravages of the weather. This unit comes with a 36" x 54" acrylic
backboard and a heavy duty flex goal. Since the goal is "direct mounted," the
risk of backboard breakage has been eliminated.
