The 48" x 72" Conversion Glass Backboard is recommended as a replacement unit
for older 48" x 72" backboards currently being used by high schools and
colleges. If you are looking for a unit that would be appropriate for a new
installation or a gym renovation, a newer model of 48" x 72" backboard is
recommended because of reduced risk of player injury from contact with the
board.
When you want to replace an older backboard, you can install the 48" x 72"
conversion glass backboard onto your existing structure quickly and easily. The
cushioned 1/2" tempered glass will provide many hours of use, even with the
demands that multiple teams will place on it. The regulation white border and
shooters' square helps players to develop their skills in the game.
The 48" x 72" Conversion Glass Backboard provides the strength and stability
needed for institutional use. You have the option of adding TuffGuard Bolt-On
Backboard Padding as a safety feature, if desired. The Padding is available in a
number of colors, which allows you to customize the package. The combination of
