The Powerhouse Challenger Select offers a great combination of flexibility
and ease of use. This model includes a sturdy 5" x 5" vertical post that simply
needs to be bolted into place on your home basketball court before you start
playing. This gives you the freedom to change the location easily if need be. If
you decide to move, you can take the system with you to your new home.
Changing the rim height is a simple matter of using the EZ Crank mechanism at
the back of the post. Turn it until you reach the height you want. The
Powerhouse Challenger Select can be adjusted to any level between 10' and 7'6".
When the rim height is set to the 10' level, the base plate to backboard
extension is 30". As the rim height is lowered, the extension distance
increases. All-weather post padding is available with this model as a safety
feature. You can also add backboard padding, if desired.
The Powerhouse Challenger Select is a basketball system that is a great choice
for residential use. You get flexibility to adapt the rim height for players of
different ages and abilities with a solid base. It comes with a 36" x 60"
acrylic backboard and a heavy duty flex goal. The bolt-down anchor base gives
you additional flexibility to reposition the system or to take it with you if
